Hi all,
scilab doesn’t start for me anymore (see error below). I suspect a problem with with a java package maybe?

Thanks for any clues!

Scilab cannot create Scilab Java Main-Class (we have not been able to find the main Scilab class. Check if the Scilab and thirdparty packages are available).

When did it last work? What changed since then? I can’t reproduce this error with version 6.0.0-1, using the stable repositories. Can you provide more information about your system (see the default template)?

I’m not using scilab on a regular basis. Last time I worked with it was probably in 2017, so I cannot name an exact date when it broke for me.

Looking closer at that error it might have something to do OpenGL / graphic drivers… I’m running on the AMD foss stack, system info:

I suggest that you report the package as broken here.
