Linux kernels, pacman and other [core] packages updated

This announcement is also available in Italian, Spanish and Taiwanese Mandarin.

Together with the main linux kernel being upgraded to version 4.15.14, the long awaited upgrade to pacman 5 is now available. Pacman 5 introduces several new features that enhance packagers and users’ experience, but please keep in mind that they haven’t been implemented in Chakra yet. We will share more information about these once they become available in our distribution.
