After a hardware meltdown, new machine, hard disk SATA mishap and two-day experiment with Sabayon (yikes!), I’m back to beloved Chakra. Bliss. However, I’m missing a couple of my favs. I know now to use chaser instead of ccr but I still get the above issue. Halp?

Could this have anything to do with

error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/local/boost-libs-1.66.0-2/desc: No such file or directory

that keeps appearing after my clean install of Goedel?

Run updpkgsums in the directory where the PKGBUILD is to update the checksums. The sha256sum in your PKGBUILD is b5e53c37c802120d01e829c639be2ff88893bfa5b1558b8841da962dc2588236 but should be a80a4a2f02951b323a9ff4518533271fd4b4f573284f28777ea04be8e4b861e3. See for yourself by downloading the source archive and running sha256sum on it:

The CCR entry is at version 0.3.0, consider importing the AUR entry which is at version 0.3.4.

I don’t see how this is related. When does this error “keep appearing”? Try reinstalling boost-libs.
